We are very happy to announce that our Vernaccia Vigna Santa Margherita 2014 has passed the tough selection of ViniBuoni d'Italia guide by Touring Club Italiano, all devoted to Italian autoctonous grape varieties.
For this 13th edition, about 25,000 samples were tasted blind, among which only 652 were admitted to the finals, summing up to just 2.6% of all participating labels. Among them only 467 wines, less than 1.9%, obtained the Crown, the highest award in the competition.
These wines express elegance, finesse, balance and quality at the highest level. We are happy that Panizzi's Vernaccia di San Gimignano hit the mark once again, confirming its reputation as a product of true excellence from a grape variety that is unique in the world, more and more reknowned and appreciated internationally.
