The video was made during the presentation of the Ten Years After -Riserva Storica Panizzi project, in its second edition. In 2024 the Vernaccia di San Gimignano D.O.C.G. 2014 Panizzi, has been reintroduced to the market 10 years after its birth.
The event took place at Arnolfo Ristorante in Colle Val d’Elsa, attended by some of the most important restaurateurs and sommeliers in Tuscany. Panizzi’s project, which is committed to reserving 10% of the annual production of Vernaccia Riserva for the long term and aims to create a library of old vintages, intended exclusively for catering.
The inspiration came from Simone Niccolai, who succeeded Giovanni Panizzi as owner of the winery and who, from him, inherited the love and an innovative approach towards Vernaccia.
