This year was the second edition of Food & Wine in progress and Panizzi represented for excellent wine from Tuscany.
In total continuity with the beautiful Biennale of Food and Wine organized in Florence during the month of November, which ended the day just before the start of Food & Wine, this year's edition has been alive, intense, joyful and represented a real showcase of Tuscany's excellence.
Panizzi was in the front row, with Walter Sovran and Susanna Santini, winemaker and sales manager, welcoming guests to the stand: Sunday, as usual, was open mostly to winelovers, on Monday food and wine business managers came to the stand. They were mostly Italian but also international buyers from Europe and Asia.
Says Susanna. "The audience of this kind of events is competent. We always have to do our best and raise the bar each time, in order to make people really understand all the work that is behind making great wine".
And Walter: "We offered the latest vintages of our Vernaccia di San Gimignano, and we valued our very last addition to our wine portfolio, the Passito/Sweet Wine, after its unexpected success at Vinitaly this year".
Stazione Leopolda is a perfect location for this type of events: it can be divided exactly in two parts: one hosted the excellence of food on the other one wines, to encourage pairings for a truly complete experience. On the main stage of the station chefs and restorateurs took turns with cooking shows and speeches.
