Annalisa does not normally share much (we do not even have images of here to share!). It was not easy to make her tell something about herself, but one thing is certain. She keeps the administrative side of Panizzi on her feet (though not by herself), handling all the necessary paperwork.

What's your job at Panizzi?
I'm an accountant. I handle all the paperwork of a contractual, bureaucratic and administrative nature.
What is the skill that those who do your job cannot absolutely lack?
A certain attention to detail, the will to really get to the bottom of things. Administrative work, if done well, is difficult because in order to do it well you have to ask yourself the right questions, even when it is not strictly necessary.
What do you like the most about your work?
It's the fact that I do my job for a winery. Wine runs in my blood. My father was a farmer and we had a small family wine-making business. I helped being an accountant there as well. Working in the wine domain makes me feel at ease and - of course - at home.
What did you do before working at Panizzi?
I have always worked in the administrative department, and always in the wine industry: from Chianti to Vernaccia, I am specialized in wine accounting and management!
What do you do in your free time? What are your passions?
Our house is in the woods, in the middle of nature, and everything is very peaceful and isolated. We all live like this, around there, surrounded by greenery, wild boars, deers. Here I spend my time with children, who still need me very much. Free time? I have none!
What is your favorite Panizzi wine?
I like Vernaccia di San Gimignano, green label. It is very good indeed, much much better than the other Vernaccias I have tasted, and I know a lot of them because of my work experience. It has the right acidity. The Vernaccia vine makes wines very acidic, but Panizzi's Vernaccia is not harsh or aggressive, rather it transforms acidity into a strong point. You can savor it at dinner and not get tired of it one bit. Without a doubt, it is a wine that I really appreciate.
What is your favorite place at Panizzi?
Larniano. It's simply lovely.
What is your favorite place in San Gimignano?
I know San Gimignano as a tourist does. I don't have special places, but it really excites me when, approaching San Gimignano, I see the towers standing out against the sky. An unmistakable skyline.
