Mix the starch with the yeast and add the salt and pepper. In another bowl, beat the corn seed oil with the egg and milk, then add it to the starch mixture. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes smooth.
Remove the black thread of the prawns, wash and dry them with paper towels, and dip them in the batter. Fry them in abundant hot sunflower oil, a few at a time, until they are golden brown. Drain them on paper towels and serve fresh out of the pan.
